While Jacob’s father Andy, a prominent district attorney, is fiercely determined to prove his son’s innocence, Jacob’s mother is besieged by growing doubts. Evidence mounts against Jacob, and an old family secret comes to light, threatening to further unravel Andy’s defense of his son and the integrity of the Barber family. This is the book that inspired the TV series Defending Jacob, an episode of which was recently filmed in Framingham!
