  2. Yoga on the Downtown Common

    Downtown Framingham, Inc. is proud to announce a summer-long yoga series! Each Saturday morning from 10-11 a.m. a yoga class will be held on the Downtown Common (2 Park Street). Each week a different local instructor will lead the group through poses and breathing exercises to help you feel calm for the whole weekend. Join us! Tickets or season passes can be purchased on Eventbrite. If the weather is not suitable for classes to be held outside, they will be relocated to the upstairs gallery at Amazing Things Arts Center at 160 Hollis Street.

    Barrel Room Yoga provides an opportunity to use mindful movement and breathing to reduce stress, invigorate the body and create a clarity of mind. Drawn back to the present moment, can enhance the beer tasting experience allowing you to notice and appreciate the subtle nuances of our barrel-aged beer. Appropriate for all-levels of yoga experience our instructor will guide students through a harmonious flow with graceful and deliberate movements paired with breath for an embodied yoga experience. Set at an unrushed pace, the class balances opening and releasing stretches with strength building poses.

  4. Demo Tape Fest at Exhibit 'A' Brewing Company

    This is an all-day music fest in our back parking lot featuring: young punk rockers Dead Trains and The Dazies, funk instrumentalists Le Prestige, alt-country indie rock bands Matt Charette & The Truer Sound and The Big Lonesome, and local R&B favorites The Squires of Soul. Headlining the show are Boston rock legends Trinary System (featuring Roger Miller of Mission of Burma), Thalia Zedek Band and The Figgs. In between sets, DJ J-Wall will be spinning sick beats. The event kicks off with a performance by School of Rock Natick House Band at 11:30am! Proceeds from the event go to sending a foster kid in need to a semester at School of Rock! Exhibit ‘A’ will be pouring 3 new Demo Tapes, which is our test batch series, alongside core beers Goody Two Shoes Kölsch, The Cat’s Meow IPA, Hair Raiser DIPA, Briefcase Porter and several other limited release beers.

    Join Anna Fialkoff in using plant materials gathered from Garden in the Woods to create a beautiful arrangement for your home. First we will hike into the Garden to learn best practices for collecting plant materials, and then we’ll head back to the classroom to create a unique display piece. Bring pruners and a container or vase for your arrangement.
