    The first hour of our Jazz Show & Jam is a concert featuring a host band which varies each week. It includes some of the finest musicians from the area and often featuring great players from NYC and beyond. After the first hour, we open it up to the jammers who get the opportunity to sit in and hone their skills, trading licks with some of the finest players in the area. Some of the best jazz can be heard here any Tuesday night! Come watch or play!! About the Jam: The jam balances high level playing with a spirit of welcome and community. Five host bands take turns making your visit to the jam a rewarding and enjoyable experience. Each week a different group and each week a different feel. Here you can hone your skills and trade lick’s with some of the finest players in the area. Whether you’re a pro or a student, you’ll have a great time. Tickets: $3.00 for Students • $5.00 for Amazing Members • $6 for non-members

    The City of Framingham is updating the 2020 Open Space & Recreation Plan and will solicit input from the community throughout the process. The Open Space & Recreation Plan is a guide help protect, manage, improve, and expand Framingham’s open space and recreation resources in the face of continuing development pressures. The Plan takes inventory of existing amenities and sets goals for increasing and improving these amenities. A Public Visioning Workshop will be held on May 22, 2019 from 6-8 p.m. at the Main Library, Costin Room (Lexington Street). Come learn about the Open Space & Recreation Plan and provide valuable input on current amenities – or lack thereof – and the future of our open space and recreational gems. Whether you can or cannot attend the Public Visioning Workshop, the City is also gathering input through a public survey.
