The need for food is something that all living things have in common. Feeding relationships between species are the foundation of the global food web that has sustained life on Earth for millions of years.
Unlike most other species, humans in the modern world have choices about we eat, and our choices can serve to break these delicate links, or strengthen and sustain them. Habitat Earth will take you on journey through some of Earth's diverse and complex ecosystems, from the deepest oceans to the forest floor. This visually stunning fulldome film will leave you with a deeper appreciation of the life forms that populate these ecosystems, and the dynamic relationships between them.
Following the film, Dr. Megan Lehnerd, Assistant Professor of Food and Nutrition at Framingham State University, will share her thoughts about how to eat with the planet in mind.
Recommended for adults and teens age 14+, suggested donation is $5 per guest, includes fulldome film and guest speaker.

After enlisting as a fifer in the Continental Army at just 13 years old, Thomas Nixon Jr. of Framingham marched on Lexington and Concord in April 1775. He, and thousands of young boys and teenagers, joined the fife and drum corps as both his father and uncle shouldered the call. While fifing was Nixon’s introduction to war, it appealed to him and became a true skill. The tune book Thomas carried in battle is one of fourteen known books of its kind in existence. It is also a rare depiction of fife tunes that includes harmonies.
Join us as founding member of the Middlesex County Volunteer Fifes & Drums, Steven Taskovics, discusses the significance of the tune book and the fifers’ role in directing the Revolutionary War.

Through The Doors is a Multi-media Tribute to Jim Morrison and The Doors and has been touring since 1980. This re-creation of the sound, look and “feel” of an actual Doors concert is so complete, it never ceases to startle even the seasoned crew. And it starts right away: In the darkened theater, well before the band has taken the stage, anticipation runs hot and the chanting for “Jim” begins. Perhaps it is the audiences’ overwhelming desire to experience a true “Resurrection” that fuels the flames. Or, attribute it if you must, to a legend that survives, even grows, some 40 years after the mysterious death of James Douglas Morrison and the dissolution of his band.
