Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and the Evolution of Activism: A Discussion

Wednesday, January 20, 2021

Join the Framingham Public Library and Rick Utaegbulam, local activist and founder of Community Vibes Framingham, for a discussion about the influence of Dr. King and the 1960’s Civil Rights Movement on today’s activism in Framingham and across the U.S. Before the discussion, we invite you to watch the film, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr: A Historical Perspective—An Authorized Biography of a Civil Rights Hero on Kanopy at bit.ly/MLK-Kanopy. (Library card required to watch.) Please bring your questions to the discussion. Email framinghamlibraryevents@gmail.com by 5:00 pm on January 20 for the Zoom invitation and link.
